We’ve started a sensory box. It’s simply a box of all Dom’s favourite things; A box that is accumulating more and more items by the day. Most of the items make noise but there are also things that spin, flash, or float. It amazes me that although Dom is auditory defensive to very loud or unfamiliar noises, if it’s him making the noise it doesn’t seem to matter how loud or intrusive it is. In fact the louder it is, the more enjoyment he gets out of it.
