What a great video and story. I don’t know why God chose to throw these challenges your way, but I can only guess that he knows/knew how strong you two would be to see them through their trials and tribulations. From our experience, most people cry for the babies and the tough road that they had to overcome. I am sympathetic to that, but I get teary-eyed when looking at you two, Mel and Grant. Grant, your strength is evident in these photos. I don’t know how you did it, and continue to do it, working through this, mentally and physically fighting through the daily battles. I feel the pain you felt. Mel, you are inspirational, the way you aim to help others along on their journey (like us) despite the tough road you are on yourself is truly amazing. Thank you both for being an inspiration to us as well as a support system, and tried and true veterans of the battle we now fight every day. God bless you all.

Thank you so much – the tears just flowed with the memories of all that you have all been through. I am so proud of you all. I love you all so much.

These very special boys have amazing parents and being reminded of how painful this journey has been, also helps to remember the joys and treasures of the special moments and of all the miracles and the love that expands through the hearts of all of you.

You continue touch many people and the gift you bring is astounding and we who know you are so blessed, thank you.

    Much love,
    Jen, Mum and Grandma.

Wow!! I remember all of these pics and sending each of you lots and lots of love as we all went through it together.

Mel you have done such a truly amazing job with your family and how can you be anything but inspirational, you simply go from strength to strength without so much as a hiccup as you take it all in your stride.

Grant if there was ever a poster boy needed for the right kind of man in today’s society’s with it’s ever changing view of what a man should be to and for his family – it would be you. You and Mel have been so perfectly matched and full of so much love to bring your precious sons safely into this world and through their lives.

Seb and Dom …. you guys rock! I look forward to watching you grow into amazing young men with all the courage and strength that your parents are teaching you and everyone else who’s lives they have touch with their story.

You all have nothing but my utmost admiration and I am so honored to share your journey with you – even if from a distance – I have always been right there with you thanks to Jen for her regular updates.

    Love Sharon xx

Hi Mel & Grant – i’ve been keeping up with Mel’s facebook updates over the years, but honestly i had no comprehension of the extent of what you’ve been through. Your family video was extremely touching and it is a much needed reminder of what’s truly important in life!

What amazing strength and love you both have – not to mention your two lovely boys. Though life has dealt you so many challenges, you’ve also been blessed with more courage and determination than anyone could ever hope for.

    ALl our love

What a moving presentation. Our Bub has a mild BWS but she is quite healthy. You guys have been through a rough trot. You are very loving parents by the looks of it and it seems you still retain a positive attitude. I wish you both all the best for the future of your two boys.

    Hi Mel & Grant

I had no idea what you guys have gone through. I was fortunate to meet you Mel at a Playconnect playgroup and instantly knew what an inspirational mom you were. I was hooked on your optimistic and postive outlook on life. I was going through a mental breakdown with Sehtmi’s stuff. I know everything is relative but i feel like a fool to even complain…. my life is a so easy compared to yours.
i am so proud to know such great parents. Dom and Seb are so lucky to be born such wonderful capable and determined parents. pls pls let me know if i can be part of your magnificent jounery of life?
Mel and Grant We hope you all the best and a relatively relaxed years ahead…
Remember i am always there…maybe i can cook some more curry again? hope you enjoyed it…
    Love always
Erosha and Suranga and Sethmi (i hope in time Dom, Seb and sethmi can be good friends and we can watch them grow up together!)
